User manual
The explorer shows how every arm (completed trial) and candidate (proposed trial) performs across all metrics, relative to a control arm. Everything is presented in relative terms (% change vs control).
Left panel — metric bars:
- Each row is one metric. Nested bars show confidence intervals at 3 levels (99% / 95% / 75%).
- Green = improvement, pink = regression, grey = neutral (CI spans zero). For metrics that should be minimized (shown with ↓), green means the value decreased.
- Objectives are labeled with ↑ or ↓ arrows. Constraints show the bound (e.g. ≤ 0.5) with a dashed line. If the CI overlaps the bound, the row gets a red halo and ⚠ badge.
- Click a metric name to set it as the active metric — the sliders below will re-sort by that metric's feature importance.
- Drag the grip handles on the left to reorder metrics.
Slider panel — parameter tuning:
- Importance bars behind each label show how much that parameter matters for the selected metric. Color indicates direction: green = increasing the parameter improves the metric, pink = decreasing it does.
- Clone an arm to create an editable candidate — adjust its sliders and watch predictions update in real time.
Navigation: Click an arm on the scatter plot or use the ◀ ▶ arrows to step through arms. The legend lets you toggle generation methods on/off.
